Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao retained his WBO Welterweight belt by winning a unanimous decision against "Sugar" Shane Mosley.

The most notable round of this fight was the 3rd round because Pacquiao KO Mosley.Next to the late Vernon Forrest, Manny is the 2nd boxer to score a knockdown against the Pomona native. Shane also scored a knockdown in the 8th round against Pacman. Referee Kenny Bayless counted when Manny fell on the floor because of a clear push. Bayless then admitted to Pacquiao his faults and apologized.
